On South Davidson Street

These were taken on Davidson Street, just south of Washington Street. This area is mostly abandoned, but the viaduct running over Pogue's Run provides a makeshift community for some the homeless people in the area. This area is usually busy with all kinds of people, but for some reason, I only saw one person around on this day...

The Pour House is an advocacy group helping homeless individuals around Indianapolis with finding jobs, practical needs, and other support.

Indy Pride Parade 2009

The Indy Pride parade was a great success, with a huge turnout, and great participants. This is one of the most hard working posts I've ever done; running ahead of, after, and following the parade trying to capture the parade's real setting and groove. I didn't notice the shadow cast on the ball until I started to process the photos...

A few city and county elected officials participated in the parade...Mayor Ballard was not present...
