Formerly the Tunnel to Nowhere

The Hangout

There are so many places to hangout in NYC.  This is my type of place; upon first glance, under the Gowanus expressway in Red Hook may not look like a pleasant place, but bear with me as I lay it out for you.  There are no drunk yuppies, no snarky hipsters, no tourists, no panhandlers, its free, and everyone minds their own business here.  Oh, and this my hangout, go get your own! ;)

Chair Up, Tables and Stools Loaded

A cool furniture store in the Bowery, Manhattan.  This area has quite a small business niche for shops like this, whether it be commercial lighting or restaurant supplies, you can find it here.

Roxanne, Red, and Raw

Does Roxanne go wandering about the Bowery? Is this the proverbial red light to be put out? Or maybe I'm just shamelessly trying to interject 1970's pop culture into this post? Well anyway, here's a grainy, gritty, and retro shot featuring a red neon sign. Taken in the Bowery, Manhattan.
