Fun with Places of Religion

This collection was a while in the making, since going all over Indianapolis looking for religious burlesque is far from practical to say the least...

Getting enough fiber in your diet? Belmont and Miller Street on the southwest side...

Hmmm, the McMuffin ad they had up before was much less intimidating...Meridian and Raymond Street.

Shot in a parking garage...Some may be entertained by this...Others, terrified...

Getting your psi on(I think)....Central Avenue, Old Northside...

Real men love Jesus???

Can anyone just walk in a buy one of these? Kreig Bros religious supplies on Meridian Street in the Wholesale District...

On North Emerson (somewhere north of 38th; can't exactly remember where) is the sign on a church: "Free Trip to Heaven. Details Inside."

Manlove Street always gives me a sophomoric giggle.

Thundermutt: That sounds like an excellent candidate for a sequel :)

Kevin: Your not the only one; I'm giggling right now thinking about it ;) This is also why I took the picture in the first place...The religion collection idea came later...

I love Kreig Bros., but I think they always spot me as a fake when I go there. Maybe it's because I'm trying to take secret photos of 44 cent pink plastic rosaries and rows of dashboard saints. I always think the store is going to just disappear without warning one day.

Your presence there was no more fake than the things you were taking pictures of ;-)...Both my parents received an old school Catholic education; possessing a pink rosary or other such contraband would have amounted to five(at least) whacks with a ruler!
