Standardized

Along with Highline, which passes under in the shot, the Standard Hotel has become an icon for the Meat Packing District. I'm a big fan of the Highline, but I'm a little critical of the architecture of the hotel. While others may differ, in my opinion, it looks like a 1970's concrete government building with a little glass added for effect.
