High 150

It took me a few times to get this shot the way I wanted it. For those of you who are acquainted with photography know that metering light and dark areas within the same shot can be difficult. Taken near the corner of 51st and Lexington in Midtown Manhattan...

Posting has been a little weak this week for my internet connection has been out and I've been waiting for the cable company to get around to fixing it.

Nicely done! I love the colors and the 70s vibe.

Matt, had you considered capturing this using auto-exposure bracketing and HDR software in post-processing? Might have made a very striking image. Maybe you didn't have a tripod handy, though ... which I'd understand if you were on the go ...

Joe, how cool would that have been?!? Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod at the time, and while I didn't use any HDR technique per se, I did use a hybrid Orton technique as far as using two exposure ranges.
