The Algonquin

I can't seem to locate the data for this building on Emporis, but it is close to the intersection of Delaware and Ohio. I've always been curious of the time honored practice of naming various buildings and societies after the names of Native American tribes...

Type any known native American tribe in Google and there is a club named after it somewhere in the US, though I think it was more common in the past. Possibly diminished in these more ethnically sensitive times? Great Old Northside images though---too bad about the stoplights hung by cables, but par for the course I suppose.

I think the practice probably died with Tammany Hall, also named after native leader...

If I were up to par on using Photoshop, I could probably remove them somehow. Every time I try, it ends up looking worse.
