The whole Fountain Square area has a beautiful view of the Indianapolis skyline. In my opinion, all of the 45 degree streets coming into downtown provide some nice views. The interesting thing about Indianapolis' skyline is that depending on where you look at it, it can look pretty dense and interesting, or it can look sparse and well, not so interesting.

I love the shot down that alley. I took a picture very similar to it, of course in my own inferior photographic style.
