The Flora of Summer

This is a small collection of what is blooming in late spring, early summer.  These flowers were photographed in various community gardens around New York City.  Yes, this tends to be out of scope of my typical photographic fare, but at one time, before I ultimately chose a career path of technology, I actually considered floriculture/horticulture.  You may click each image to get a little more information about each flower.
